She was predeceased by: her husband Isreal Willie Larry; her son George Evans, Jr.; her parents, Alice Malbrough and Thomas Charles; her son-in-law Lionel Young; her grandchildren, Merlin Nickson and Sonia Evans; and her siblings, Alcide, Rodney, Clifton Charles and Irene Dartez.
She is survived by: her children, Merlin (Charlotte Evans) of Crowley, Thomas, Charlie Evans of Rayne, Willie Mae (Rodney Guidry) of Clarksville, TN, Elizabeth (Joseph Moore) of Rayne and Irene Evans Young of Rayne; and her siblings, Mary C. Handy of Rayne and Chester (Arma Charles) of Rayne. She is also survived by twenty two grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
