She was predeceased by: her husband Alex Istre; her parents, Phillip Boudreaux, Sr. and Isaure Simon Boudreaux; her siblings, Mary Boudreaux Foreman, Thelma Boudreaux Lanclos, Allen Boudreaux, Chester Boudreaux, Gilford Boudreaux, Sr. and Chester Emark Boudreraux; and her great grandchildren, Julianna Elizabeth Fridrick and Aidan Jude Fridrick.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffery Paul Istre (Wanda Istre), Kenneth Istre (Andrea Istre), Ronnie Joseph Istre, Jerry Istre (Laura Istre) and Josette Renee Istre LeBlanc (Deacon Barry LeBlanc); and her siblings, Gloria Boudreaux Deroussel (Larry Deroussel), Florine Boudreaux Hollier and Phillip Boudreaux, Jr.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Gossen Funeral Home Inc. (504 N Polk St, Rayne, LA 70578). A rosary was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (401 S Adams Ave, Rayne, LA 70578). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the St. Joseph Cemetery (400 E Betty St, Rayne, LA 70578).
