He is survived by: his wife Louella Leon Richard of Rayne; his children, Donald L. Richard, Jr. of Broussard, Anthony "Tony" Richard (Mary Richard) of Lafayette and Monica Richard Fitzgerald (Jon Fitzgerald) of Lafayette; his adoptive daughter Andrea Richard Roche (Joseph Roche) of Rayne; his grandchildren, Megan Montet, Scott Montet, Slade Richard, Madison Hebert, Andrew Hebert, Emily Richard, Taggart Fitzgerald, Lillian Fitzgerald and Alexander Fitzgerald; his great grandchildren, Ashton Roche, Ella-Kate Roche and Everett Roche; and his brothers, Lucien Richard, Jr. of Richard and Dudley John Richard (Mary Richard) of Milton.
