She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Taylor and Ruby Cook Taylor; and her siblings, Bookie Taylor, Clyde "Bean" Taylor, Sidney Taylor, Billy Taylor and Linda McMorris.
She is survived by: her husband Gerites Cormier, Jr.; her children, Melissa Barrett, Meredith Taylor, Wayne Rushing, Jr., Simon Stelly (Hope Stelly), John Stelly (Nicole Stelly), Gerald Stelly and Oreste Stelly (Meagen Stelly); and her siblings, Patricia Taylor, Lucille Morgan, Peggy Pigott and Sherwood Taylor. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.
