He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Arsement and Ezide Robert Arsement of Carencro, LA. He is survived by: his wife Helen Gossen Arsement of Rayne, LA; and his children, Christopher Arsement (Susie), Robert Arsement (Janet), Fred Arsement (Rochelle), Stephen Arsement (Ella), Clarence "Chuck" Arsement Jr. (Joan), Monica Arsement and Karen Collier (James). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren.
