He is survived by: his grandchildren, Todd Abshire (Lisa) of Port Barre and Laurie Abshire of Wood River, IL.; and his great grandchildren, Samantha Abshire, Kristen Abshire, Gary Abshire, Renee Buckus (Cade), Kyndra Green (Troy) and Cooper Reid Holcomb.
