He was predeceased by: his wife JoAnn Hicks; his parents, William Hicks and Pauline Pendleton Hicks; and his brother Larry Hicks. He is survived by: his close friend Katherine Arceneaux of Rayne; his sons, Charles Hicks, Jr. (Christine) and Christopher Hicks (Jean) of Chico, CA; his grandson Ryan Hicks of Chico, CA; his sister Judy Weston (Bob) of Cochise, AZ; his sister-in-law Betty Hicks of Portsmouth, OH; and his grandchildren, Peyton Higgingbotham and Beadon Higgingbotham of Branch.
