He is survived by: his father Calvin Joseph Minix, Sr. (Eva Jean Minix); his son Calvin Joseph Minix, III; his grandchildren, Dajan Minix and Tajan Minix; and his siblings, Evelenna Minix Babineaux (Kenneth Babineaux), Atrina Minix Thomas (Jason Thomas), Rachelle Minix, Aysiah Minix, Murray Minix and Samuel Minix. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, numerous aunts and uncles, numerous cousins.
