She was predeceased by: her husband Emar Meche; her son Kevin Meche; her parents, Louis Thibodeaux and Ednez D. Thibodeaux; her siblings, Russell, Louis, Kenneth, Hershell, Wayne Thibodeaux, Autherine Thibodeaux, Carolyn Lavergne and Marquitha Thibodeaux; and her brothers-in-law, Terry Quebodeaux and James Lavergne.
She is survived by: her children, Priscilla (Kevin Duhon) of Scott, Cathy (Kim Devalcourt) of Branch, Randy Meche of Rayne and Daniel Meche of Texas; and her sisters, Lois Quebodeaux of Church Point, Martha (Claude) of New Iberia, Sandra Gary of Scott and Mona (Michael LaCroix) of Rayne. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
