She was predeceased by: her husband Powell Joseph Sonnier; and her parents, Walter Hebert, Sr. and Philomen Prejean Hebert. She is survived by: her brother Walter Hebert, Jr.; her children, Sharon Chatelain of Rayne, Donna Blank of Houston, TX., Marla Clancy (Mark) of Spring, TX, Gwen Breaux of Carencro and Glenn Sonnier (Barbara) of Mire; her grandchildren, Trey Chatelain (Erin), Wally Chatelain (Sarah), Katie Blank, Andrew Clancy, Sarah Sylvain (Brandon), Julia Clancy, Jonathan Sonnier (Andrea), Matthew Sonnier (Adrienne), Brittany Sonnier, Holly Comeaux (Neil) and Jason Breaux (Jennifer); and her great grandchildren, Emma Chatelain, Ava Sonnier, Collin Comeaux and Laney Comeaux.
