She was predeceased by: her husband Elridge Hanks; her son-in-law Shane Meyers; her parents, Wilton Guidry and Blanche Guidry; and her siblings, Barbra Latour and Ferdie Guidry.
She is survived by: her children, Tawnya Meyers of Youngsville, Vaune (Joel Roy) of Rayne, Britt Hanks of Judice and Derek (Windy Hanks) of Judice. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
