He is survived by: his son-in-law Deacon Barry LeBlanc; his wife Dorothy Boudreaux Istre of Rayne; his children, Jeffery Paul Istre (Wanda Istre) of Rayne, Kenneth Istre (Andrea Istre) of Humble, TX, Ronnie Joseph Istre of Atlanta, GA, Jerry Istre (Laura Istre) and Josette Renee Istre LeBlanc (Deacon Barry LeBlanc) of Rayne; and his grandsons, Brandon Paul Istre, Corey Neil Istre, Christopher Michael Istre, Jacob Aaron Istre, Trevor Anthony Istre, Kyle Joseph LeBlanc and Brody Scott LeBlanc. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren.
