He was predeceased by: his wife Edith Reeves; and his children, Wanda Murphy, Patricia Cooper, Linda Fruqua, Brenda Taylor, Michael Reeves and Douglas Reeves.
He is survived by: his sisters, Pearl Airhart and Bonnie Pierce. He is also survived by her children and grandchildren; twenty-one grandchildren; fifty-six great grandchildren.
