With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elodie Fontenot Lavergne of Ragley, Louisiana, who passed away on July 12, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcellus Fontenot and Marcella Fontenot; her daughter Merrial Lavergne; and her siblings, Mable DeVille, Eva Guillory, Adam Fontenot, Austin Fontenot, Elvina Gradney and Theresa Green.
She is survived by: her children, Vennosia Clophus (Eugene Clophus) of Sulphur, LA and Elvis Lavergne of Ragley, LA; and her grandchildren, Nypheteria Clophus of Sulphur and Franyora Dixon (Jason Dixon) of Florida. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family member and friends.
