He is survived by: his mother Annie Newman Butterfield of Ragley; his siblings, Bernadette Smith (John) of Ladson, SC, Anna Rodgers (Drew) of Suwanee, GA, Russell LeRoy Butterfield, III of Lake Charles, Michael Roy Butterfield of Ragley, Gloria Mae Authement of Roundrock, TX, Roger Lee Butterfield (Tabitha) and Heidi Christine Sanchez (Irwing) of Katy, TX; his stepchildren, Karie Lynn Hunter (Michael) and Cody James Atherton; his stepgreat-grandchild Taylor Lynn Hunter; and also, Austin and Brennan. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
