She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Chesson, Sr.; her son Joseph Lynn Chesson; her parents, Aleci Broussard and Clarice Daigle Broussard; and her brother Joseph Broussard.
She is survived by: her children, Angeline Chesson of Lake Charles, Marsha Smith of Kinder and Joseph MacArthur "Bull" Chesson, Jr. of Topsy; her grandchildren, Cody, Casey, Lena, Christina, Darrell, Shawn and Dylan; and her sisters, Wonder Arabie and Marilyn Reeves. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
