It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Rae LaBove McCain Carson of Ragley, Louisiana, born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Waybern and Velta Hebert LaBove. She is survived by: her husband Charles Thomas "Tommy" Carson; her children, Lucas McCain (Angela), Travis McCain (Nikki), Jake McCain (Kelly), Troy Carson and T. K. Cooper (Roger); her grandchildren, Wyatt, Hunter McCain, Hayden, Collin Bruns, Ethan Tucker, Davis, Andrew Carson, Callie McCain and Maddie Carson; and her siblings, Diana Boerema, Vickie Monceaux (Mark), Rickey LaBove (Brenda) and John LaBove (Kathy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A rosary was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 6:15 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:30 PM at the St. Margaret Catholic Church (2500 Enterprise Blvd, Lake Charles, LA 70601).
