He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Pierson; and his parents, Dencil Pierson and Wavoline Pierson of Ohio. He is survived by: his children, Charles L. Pierson Jr. (Cristy) of Carlyss, Tammy Myers (Donald Jr) of Sulphur, Crystal Doucette (Ray Jr) of Carlyss and Rayneall Spurgeon (Will) of Ragley; and his siblings, Joann Hutchinson of Ohio, Dencil Pierson Jr. (Linda) of Ohio and Roger Pierson Sr. of Ohio. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home (1810 W Fourth St, DeQuincy, LA 70633). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Westlake Memorial Park (410 Fletcher Rd, Westlake, LA 70669).
