He was predeceased by: his father Alden Degruise; his grandparents, Clinton and Maude Breaux; his aunts and uncles, Eugene Degruise, Ferrel Degruise, Modres Degruise and Rosemary Bourgeois; and his cousins, Aubrey Morales, Darrell Knight, Doug Fonseca and Mike Griffin.
He is survived by: his mother Beverly "Belle" Degruise; his sisters, Lori Degruise (Joe) and Vicky Barker (Petzee); his goddaughter Brittney Dufrene (Josh); his nephew Tate "Totsy" Dufrene; his godchildren, Liam Dufrene and Chelsea Caro; his stepdaughter Noosy Kaitlyn Zeringue; his godparents, Paul Breaux and Carmel Knight; and his pets, Olive and Ozzy.
