With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Penny Dufrene Zeringue of Raceland, Louisiana, born in Mathews, Louisiana, who passed away on October 7, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Roland Dufrene and Theresa Dufrene. She is survived by: her children, Nicole Zeringue and Bart Zeringue (Linsey); her grandchildren, Leila Orgeron (Hunter), Demi Orgeron, Adley Zeringue and Ace Zeringue; and her siblings, Roland Dufrene, Jr., Patrick Dufrene (Beth), Rose Detillier, Wendy Brunet (Eddie), Jude Dufrene (Annie) and Bill Dufrene (Adele). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
