She was predeceased by : her husband Alfred Lawson, Sr.; her parents, Clarence Gray and Sarah Gray; her children, Elton, Larry, Burnell Lawson and Linda Lawson Brown; her siblings, Samuel Gray, Sr. and Josephine Gray Walker (Louise Gray Jones); and her grandchildren, Sergeant Norman Brown, Jr. and Taquinta Monique Lawson.

She is survived by : her children, Alfred Lawson, Jr. (Karen), Floyd Lawson (Shaun), Clarence Lawson and Sarah Lawson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
