He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. Toups Sr. and Laura Sevin Toups; and his wife Ida Fijen. He is survived by: his siblings, Philip Toups Sr. (Theresa), Katherine Toups, Dorothy Toups, Margaret Toups, Joseph E. Toups Jr. (Geneva), Francis Toups, Paul Toups and Leo Toups; and his family, Willy Straetemans-Fijen, Truus Fijen, Tjebbe Fijen (Lia) and Mary Fijen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
