He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Autin Mayet; his parents, Roland Mayet and Bessie Robichaux Mayet; his siblings, Eddie Hughes and Elaine Mayet; and his son-in-law Shane Carroll.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gena Carroll and Tamra Blanchard; his grandchildren, Brandi McGittigan (Ryan), Rickie Jr., Justin, Chelsey, Jonathan, Nicholas (Alexas Braud) and Alexis Adams; and his great grandchildren, Kalei Adams (Payton Boudreaux), Anabelle, Kiram, Hunner, Austin, Justin Jr., Annelle, Zayden, Caiden, Shyleigh, Mathew, Donny Jr., Kayzleigh, Payton, Bowen and Layton.
