He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jane Matherne Schouest; his parents, Harry Peter Schouest and Bessie Marie Landry Schouest; and his brother-in-law Albert Hebert. He is survived by: his children, Lori S. Brupbacher (Kevin), Jill S. Hodge (John) and Cory J. Schouest (Eva); his sisters, Sherry S. Hebert and Carol S. LeBlanc (Charles); his grandchildren, Kacie B. Patterson (Buck), Beth B. Bouvier (Jason), Levi P. Brupbacher (Savannah) and Breanna S. Moore (Justin); and his great grandchildren, Aubrey Jane Patterson, Dakota Rae Patterson, Gracie Jane Moore and Brantley Joseph Moore.
