He was predeceased by: his parents, Anidas J. Rivet and Emma Lois Collins Bonvillian; and his grandparents, Ashton, Aliska Collins, Alexandria and Felicia Tastet Rivet.
He is survived by: his siblings, Connie Rivet, Karen Bourg (Glynn "Beaver"), Ramona Gisclair (Sam) and Kim Rivet. He is also survived by 5 nieces and nephews; 8 great-nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery (1985 LA-308, Thibodaux, LA 70301).
