It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Melancon Theriot of Raceland, Louisiana, born in Opelousas, Louisiana, who passed away on July 27, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Roland J. Theriot; her daughter Kimberly Guidry; her infant daughters, Becky Lynn and Brenda Louise Theriot; her parents, Alton "Blue" Melancon and Pearl Kimball Melancon; and her siblings, Glenn Pastorick and Gertie Mae Pastorick.
She is survived by : her children, Deborah Borne (Clarence), Chad Theriot (Stacey) and Carole Boudreaux; and her sisters, Geraldine Babin and Cheryl Dominique. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson.
