It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Young Degree (Raceland, Louisiana), who passed away on December 13, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Christine and Young; and her sisters, Dorothy Wells and Annie Mason. She is survived by: her husband Jerome Degree, Sr.; her children, Jerome Degree, Jr. (Patricia Forbes) and Renee Degree; her sister Hilda Ingram (Kenneth Boyd); her grandchildren, Janiya Griffin, Christopher Whitney and Briane Degree; and her great grandchildren, Ja'ni Jones and Champion Sylvester Jailah Randall. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
