Hampton; his children, Darrell "Butch" Mathieu Jr., Royal Veal Sr., Darrellyn "Mandy" McDowell, Darnell Mathieu, Mary Gail Cameron, Paulette Veal, Bernadette Mathieu, Michelle Johnson (Ivan), Deanna Mathieu and Darrellynn Mathieu; his siblings, Tony White and Bernadette Nicholas; his godchild Zernell Mercadel Burrel; and his friend Joseph Perio. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
