He was predeceased by: his parents, David Adams, Sr. and Theresa F. Adams; and his brother Evans Adams. He is survived by: his wife Annette G. Adams; his children, Amy Garner (Daniel) and Justin Adams (Jamie); his grandchildren, Randall, Peyton, Jenna, Nathan, Macy and Leah; and also David Adams, Jr..
