June Womack Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Womack of Quitman, Louisiana, who passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard L. Womack; her sons, Bobby R. Womack and Charles R. Womack; her parents, Clyde W. Dowda and Ruby Dowda (Middleton); her grandchildren, Timmy, Shanna, Chad and Bubba; her great grandchild Jasper; her brother Michael Dowda; and her children-in-law, Ellis Blount and Tsune Womack.
She is survived by: her children, Linda W. Blount, Beverly Kay Knox, David W. Womack (Sharon) and Tommy M. Womack (Velvet); her siblings, Claudia Brown, James Dowda and Don Dowda; and her close friend Shirley Smith. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jonesboro Assembly of God (1490 S Hudson Ave, Jonesboro, LA 71251). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at the Hart Assembly of God (2688 LA-126, Sikes, LA 71473).
