She is survived by: her nephew Thomas Alvin Wilson, Jr.; her parents, Floyd Miles and Sybil Miles; her grandparents, Joe Thomas Miles, Sr., Hattie Mae Miles (Broughten), Elijah Winfield Barnhill and Mary Magdalene Hilliard Barnhill; her husbands, James Leon Baxley (Buck) and Richard Keith Tankersley; her son James Leon Baxley, Jr (Jimmy); her sister Dorothy Marie Miles Wilson; her nephew William Glen Machen, Jr. Mrs (Shane); her daughter Carla Baxley Martin (Kenny); her stepdaughter Kathy Tankersley Bernier (Ian); her grandchildren, Carrie Vee Martin Williams (James), James Kenny Martin Jr. and James Leon Baxley, III (Buck); her stepgrandchildren, Amy Henderson (Kenny) and Audrea Denise Reed; her great grandchildren, Kaden James Williams, Kenna Grace Williams and Avery Grace Baxley; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Dru Henderson, Tripp Henderson, Halen McMurray and Jalen Watson Treylan Reed; her siblings, May Nell Nugent, Peggy DeGeneres (John Sr.) and Floyd Miles Jr.; and her nephew Tommy Wilson, Jr.. She is also survived by niece who was her name-sake: Karen Louise Wilson Murray, as well as a host of other nieces and nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
