He was predeceased by: his wife Millicent "Joy" Long (Cole). He is survived by: his son Dr. Cecil Allen Long (Debora); his grandchildren, Heather Ann Standifer (Adam), Jacob Michael Long (Bailey) and Lucy Allen Long; and his great grandchildren, Levi, Darcy and Rowan.
