With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Brister of Provencal, Louisiana, who passed away on March 17, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John McCallister and Ina Mae Stephens McCallister; her sons, David LeDoux, Keith Allen Aaron and John Brister; her grandson Jeffery Brister; and her siblings, Marie McCallister, Lila Mae Fitzpatrick, Bell Jordan, Jo Fuller, Molly Brown, Alice Guin, Lanora Jennings, George McCallister, John McCallister, Jr. and Luther McCallister.
She is survived by: her husband Wanel Brister; her children, Michael LeDoux (Linda) of Seabrook, TX, Charlotte Grayson (John) of Natchitoches, LA, Danny Brister (Shirley) of Elysian Fields, TX and Diane Beal of Pittsburgh, PA; and her brother Ronnie McCallister of Bellwood, LA.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 recent great-great grandchild.
