It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Rush Bonaventure of Pride, Louisiana, born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who passed away on September 22, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rush J. Bonaventure and Nellie B. Bonaventure (Barbay); his wife Joyce A. Thompson; and his brother Willie Bonaventure. He is survived by: his children, Donald Bonaventure (Janet), Gregory Bonaventure (Dianna), Christopher Bonaventure (Stephanie), Timothy Bonaventure, Cheryl Estave (Glenn) and Jeanne Browning. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 32 Great-Grandchildren.
