It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James George Tetterington of Pride, Louisiana, born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Tetterington; his sisters, Darleen Breland, Sharon Thomas and Ruth Tetterington; his brothers-in-law, Ray Breland (Darleen Breland) and Cochran (Sharon Thomas); and his parents, James Max Tetterington and Candace Rachel Tetterington.

He is survived by: his daughter Melinda Bass; and his grandson Bentley James Tetterington.
