He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Hanley and Judy Hanley; his parents-in-law, John Brock and Julia Carpi Brock; his sister Melinda Hanley Guarino; his siblings-in-law, Jay Guarino, Nathan Fontenot and Caryl Brock Wilkinson; and his nephew Joshua Wilkinson.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Brock Hanley; his children, Kimberly Hanley Hallett (Scott), Katie Hanley Dunlap (Pat) and Richard A. Hanley Jr. (Kate); his grandchildren, Regan, Paris, Kaden, Genevieve, Scarlett, Gavin, Coen and Mason; his siblings, Sheila Hanley Miller (Glenn), Becky Hanley Hamilton (Brian), Sharon Hanley Fuselier (Danny), Jean Hanley Fontenot, Mark Hanley (Kelly) and Michael Hanley (Maria); and his brothers-in-law, Micheal Brock (Ruth) and Tommy Brock (Tricia). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
