He is survived by: his wife Mary Owens York; his children, Elvin "Jeroid" York, Ebony Parker, Shemetris Stokes and Sonia York; and his stepdaughters, Tiffany Owens and Teressa Owens. He is also survived by 14 grand-children and 1 great-grandson.
