She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Hamilton and Elizabeth Hamilton (Liza). She is survived by: her children, Carl E. Christy of Prairieville, Patricia A. Christy-Delmore (Nathaniel), Jennifer M. Christy (Prairieville) and Emmanuel E. Christy; her siblings, Linden CoCo, Mary C. Weams and Alberta Lomas; and her nieces, Ella Mae Cann and Mary Lou Weams.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Gillion Baptist Church (38280 Henry Rd, Prairieville, LA 70769). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
