It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ella Mae Jones of Prairieville, Louisiana, who passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mamie Jones and Willie Jones Sr.; and her siblings, Ernest Jones, Larry Paul Jones Sr., Lory Jones Sr., Lester Jones Sr., Willie Jones Jr., Alvin Jones, Delores Ray, Martha Douglas, Linda Dunn and Irma Monday.
She is survived by: her children, Lesia Johnson (Robert), Jonathan Jones (Anna), Marilyn Wilkinson (Kevin), Kenny Lewis (Renee) and Anuli Jackson; her grandchildren, Luther Nash, Talisha Johnson, Robert Trey Johnson, Jonathan Jones Jr., Tabitha Dunbar, Johnny Jones and Chelsey Wilkinson; her siblings, Marie Jones, Bernard Jones (Bernice) and Odis Jones Sr.; and her close friend Willie Mae Thompson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
