Carolyn B. Browning Obituary

She was predeceased by: her son Michael A. Browning; and her parents, Gilbert F. Bosco, Sr. and Dorothy Driscoll Bosco. She is survived by: her husband Michael L. Browning; her grandchildren, Andrew Browning (Michelina Percoco), Nick Browning, Elizabeth Browning (Chris Varnum) and Lauren Browning; her great grandchildren, Celeste Browning, Theodore Browning and Violet Browning; her siblings, Mary Bosco Marks and Gilbert F. Bosco, Jr.; and her niece Brandi Marks Theard (David).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

Beyond her career, Carolyn was an active member of numerous organizations, including the Nunez Community College Foundation, the FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association, and the St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce. She also served as President of the Nunez Community College Alumni Association and was a longtime executive board member of the American Heart Association's St. Bernard Chapter.
