It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Germaine Dufour Byers (Poydras, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on October 11, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Curry Dufour; her grandson Philip Meyers; her sister Mary Lorraine Dufour; and her former husband Lynn Meyers, Sr.. She is survived by: her parent Edine Dufour; her husband Robert; her children, Gwendolyn, Lynn Jr. (Charlotte), Diane (Keith) and Cherri (Oliver); and her grandchildren, Brandy (Jason), Derek, Curry, Nancy, Codi, Dalton, Brittany and Robert.
