He is survived by: his children, Jill A. Melerine, Marty A. Melerine, Jr. (Rosa) and Dean J. Melerine (Michelle); and his sisters, Brenda Melerine Serpas (late Lionel) and June Melerine Tujaque (Fredrick). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church (2805 Bayou Rd, St Bernard, LA 70085). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
