He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilmer James and Joan Day James; and his brother Kenneth James Sr. (Sue). He is survived by: his wife Mavada Lynn Dove James; his siblings, Tommy James (Rita) and Dyana Glenn; his children, Misty Parks (Jacob), Mandy James, Stephanie Schott (Nathaniel), Crystal Sanche (Felix), Gleason Alexis Jr. (Juan), Cody Stallings, Aaron Ancar (Savannah) and Tony Ancar (Megan); and his adoptive daughters, Shelsea Ancar and Leonor Medrano. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
