She was predeceased by: her parents, Asa Newman and Alma Comeaux Newman; and her son-in-law Eric Paul Hansen. She is survived by: her husband Walter "Bobby" Robert Longley; her children, Renee L. Hansen (late Eric), Tom (Penny), Jimmy, Cathy Sutherland (Hugh) and Gary (Angela); her grandchildren, Lauren, Sydney Hansen, Madison, Elizabeth Longley, Megan, Dylan Longley, Kaleigh, Michael Gornak, Sullivan and Madelyn Longley; her great grandchildren, Mason of Leyah, JD, Johnny, Marie and Mino; her sisters, Virginia Leferve and Nancy Parr (George); and her niece Elaine Longley Alleman.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (8968 LA-23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at the St Patrick Catholic Church-Port Sulphur (28698 LA-23, Port Sulphur, LA 70083).
