He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Ragas and Mary Andry Ragas Sr. (late Marilyn "Peterice" James); his child Wynette Williamson; and his siblings, Samuel Ragas Jr., Geraldine Ragas, Barbara Prout, Michael Ragas Sr., Gerald Ragas and Bobby Lynn Ragas.
He is survived by: his children, Yolanda R. Brown (James Sr.), Carla Ragas, Ivy "Patrice" Ragas (Arthur), Cedric Ragas Sr. (Shanda), Raquel R. Jones (Bernell III) and Danielle Logan (Carl); and his sisters, Eunice Williams, Janice Ingraham, Ruby Trufant and Betty Espadron. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.
