It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Louis Mackey Jr. (Port Sulphur, Louisiana), who passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his siblings, Vera Mackey and Rick Byron Mackey; his children, Tanya Mackey Gibson (Greg) and Jarvis Mackey (Georgette); his grandchildren, Anjanae, Daquan, Moesha, DaKaiya, Keyira, Greg Jr., Knazi and Knyare; and his children, Joel and Rene Mackey. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, sister, brother family and friends.
