He was predeceased by: his wife Opal Ruth McGregor Zito; his parents, Santo Zito and Conjetta Cali Zito Lemoine; and his sisters, Josephine "Josie" Zito Gonzales and Sarah Breaux.
He is survived by: his children, Jack C. Zito II (Cherie), Howard Zito (Cyndy), Jimmy Zito (Melanie) and Joanna Zito; his grandchildren, Colin, Jeryd (Monique), Jack III (Brenda), Jimmy (Kaci), Connor, Cade Zito and Jamie Delahoussaye (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Logun, Landon, Tyler, London, Zoey Zito, Drew, Gauge and Jordan Delahoussaye; and his great great grandchild Reagan Opal. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
