She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew J. Barnewold and Marjorie Adams Barnewold; and her brother Andrew J. Barnewold (Betty). She is survived by: her husband Joseph P. DeMello; her daughter Debbie Smith (Travis); her grandson Nathan Bowers; her siblings, Leona Deion (Calvin) and Kim Bergeron (Desie); and her goddaughter Diane Cabeceiras (Henry). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
