He is survived by: his children, Hunter Basco (Kayla) of Opelousas and Meah-Morgan Effie Basco of Lafayette; his sisters, Veronica Juneau of Hessmer and Frankie Faye Doucet of Mansura; his granddaughter Madelyn Basco; and his pet Louie Anthony Guidroz.
