He is survived by: his wife Cecile Nugent of Port Barre; his children, Matthew Scott Nugent (Julie Prejean Nugent) of Port Barre, Thomas Andrew Nugent of Pecaniere and Amanda Marie Nugent of Port Barre; and his grandsons, Jack Matthew Nugent and Grant Logan Nugent.
